Arrivals & Departures

Passengers are asked to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to their flight time to check in and greet the pilots. Once arriving at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport you are asked to walk through the tunnel or take the ferry to the Island where you will enter the main terminal on the Island. You will then head outside through the doors and follow the building to the left till you reach the Porter FBO Limited Lounge just around the corner. Our pilot or customer service team will greet you in the lounge as soon as you walk inside.

Billy Bishop Airport is located at the foot of Bathurst Street (south of Queen’s Quay). Just minutes away from Downtown Toronto and easily accessible.

We recommend taking the complimentary Porter Shuttle service directly from Union Station where it will take you right to Billy Bishop Airport.

Yes. You will arrive and depart from Billy Bishop Toronto City airport at the Porter FBO lounge.

It is mandatory to arrive to the lounge 30 minutes prior to your flight time for check in. Due to scheduling reservations, we cannot delay tours. We strive to always leave on time for the convenience of all passengers.

If you have chartered the aircraft, please notify us by phone immediately of any delay. We will do our best to accommodate you. Please note any delay will lead to additional charges or a complete forfeit of your reservation.

Cancellations, Refunds and Re-bookings

Flights may be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. Inclement weather such as but not limited to low cloud ceilings high winds and due to closure of airspace may necessitate cancellations. Aerial Tours are conducted in good visibility and away from clouds. If those conditions do not exist we will notify you and reschedule your flight to a new convenient date and time of your choice.   No fees will apply for the rescheduling due to circumstances beyond our control.

If a situation arises that necessitates cancellation of your flight you will be notified as soon as the information is available to us via email and phone. We will do our best to give you as much notice as possible, however please keep in mind that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances, cancellations can happen at very short notice. Please check your email for any updates before heading to the airport, or call us in case of questionable weather.

  • All packages are refundable two weeks prior to the scheduled flight. A $50 administrative fee is applicable per passenger.
  • Tours may be rebooked once with at least 72 hours (3 days) notice prior to the flight. An administrative fee of $50 will be charged.
  • Cancellations due to emergencies may be made 72 hours (3 days) prior to the flight may be converted to a future credit, however, will not be refunded otherwise will be forfeit.  A $50 Administrative fee will be charged.
  • Tickets and tours may be transferable with at least 72 hours (3 days) advance notification to another name.
  • Gift Card sales are final and are non-refundable.
  • Late arrivals will not be admitted to the flight and will result in the forfeiture of the ticket.
  • No-shows will not be refunded and will result in the forfeiture of the ticket.

To get that “up close and personal” feeling with the amazing sights we fly at approximately 2,000 feet to 3,500 feet depending on the area in which you are flying. Sometimes lower if air traffic control allows us.

We require that children be able to sit on the seat unassisted, and have the seat belt on safely. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour experience. Children two years or under may be able to sit on parents laps and may travel for free as long as the weight and balance requirements of the aircraft are met.

Weight and Balance requirements for the aircraft are mandated by Transport Canada and therefore it is mandatory for us to know our passenger weights during booking for us to be able to perform these requirements accurately. We will accommodate the best we way we can based on the rules and regulations.   For Group flight the maximum weight for two passengers will be 360lbs.  For Private flights the maximum weight for two passengers will be 430lbs.

Yes. We encourage you to take pictures in our cockpit and aircraft while on the ground. And of course, we encourage you to also to take pictures while in flight – the views are spectacular.
